As government ministries need to take precautions to ensure safety of their staff, a budget for the expenditure of personal protective equipment, test kits, sanitation and other COVID-19 related items should be made, said Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Ong Tiong Oh during the third day of the 18th Legislative Council session.
The LegCo member said purchases of COVID-19 related items will continue in the absence of an end to the pandemic.
