SEOUL (ANN/KOREA HERALD) – K-pop fans rejoice! GOT7 is making a highly anticipated comeback as a full group after nearly three years. The seven-member group will release its new mini-album, “Winter Heptagon,” on Jan. 20, 2025, marking their first group activity since their 12th mini-album, “GOT7,” in May 2022.
Despite leaving JYP Entertainment in 2021, GOT7 retained the rights to their group name, paving the way for this reunion. Kakao Entertainment oversaw the planning and production of “Winter Heptagon.”
Leader Jay B surprised fans with the comeback announcement during his solo concert, “Tape: Re Load,” at KBS Arena on Dec. 7, 2024, sparking enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Known for hits like “Just Right,” “If You Do,” and “Never Ever,” GOT7 has been a prominent force in K-pop since their 2014 debut. Their last album, “GOT7,” topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 95 regions worldwide, showcasing their global appeal.
Pre-orders for “Winter Heptagon” will be available on major music platforms, and teaser content will be released via the group’s official social media accounts.
