The Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) marked the golden jubilee of technical education with a religious ceremony at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque yesterday.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education and member of the IBTE governing board Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad, followed by the recitations of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran led by Imam of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
A printer, LCD projector, projector screen, portable speaker and microphone were donated to the mosque as part of waqaf contributions from IBTE. IBTE Director of Technical Education Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, IBTE governing board members, IBTE teaching body and members of the organising committee were also present.
