The Malay Islamic Monarchy Supreme Council Secretariat Office and the Ministry of Education is organising the Generasi Ber-MIB programme for local students pursuing their studies in Malaysia.
The two- day programme, held until today, is attended by government scholarship and self-funded students studying in Malaysia.
The programme aims to strengthen the Bruneian identity among students while deepening their understanding of the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) philosophy. The programme includes three briefing sessions, covering ‘MIB: Our Identity,’ ‘The Responsibilities of Young Ambassadors (Students) of Brunei Darussalam in Upholding the MIB Image Abroad,’ and a briefing by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
The programme also incorporates workshop activities to reinforce the students’ knowledge of MIB, their identity and its application in daily life. The workshop aims to enhance communication skills through group discussions, sharpen critical thinking abilities and develop problem-solving skills. – James Kon
