Fun-filled activities for students at financial roadshow

The National Savings Day (NSD) 2024 Financial Awareness Roadshow arrived at the Tutong Sixth Form Centre yesterday, where some 390 primary school students in the district were exposed to practical financial management.

The roadshow, organised by Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), saw the students participate in games and activities that promoted financial awareness and concepts such as savings, takaful, insurance, retirement planning and financial consumer protection.

It was the fourth roadshow held in conjunction with the National Saving Day celebration and was organised in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Police Force, Employees Trust Fund (TAP), Cyber Security Brunei, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam and Baiduri Bank.

Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya’akub who is the Penhulu of Mukim Ukong, was the guest of honour.

The final roadshow for NSD 2024 will be held at Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre on July 3 and followed by a Financial Fun Fair, scheduled to take place in August at the Jerudong Park Playground. – James Kon
