Badan Tanmiah Harta Majlis Ugama Islam (BTHMUI) held a foundation laying ceremony to mark the commencement of the construction of a two-storey house on land owned by Baitulmal at Kampong Tanah Jambu yesterday.
The construction of the house is one of BTHMUI’s strategic investment plans which coincides with its mission to generate income through socio-economic development for the well-being of the Muslim community in the Sultanate.
The construction of the house is expected to be completed in nine months.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan in his capacity as the Chairman of the BTHMUI’s Board of Directors, attended the event as the guest of honour.
Members of the Board of Directors, director, officers and staff of BTHMUI were also present. – Adib Noor
