    Forum explores key leadership insights

To mark the 41st National Day, Persatuan Kemajuan Insan (KESAN) organised the Vision to Impact Leadership Forum at the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s (UNISSA) auditorium. The forum sparked insightful discussions on leadership across various fields.

The forum featured three speakers – Muhammad Najib bin Haji Latif, Hajah Norajleen Uminatul Hafizan binti Haji Alimas and Dayangku Nurqistina binti Pengiran Haji Hassanan – each sharing their expertise on leadership applications.

The forum was moderated by General Secretary of Persatuan KESAN Sarah binti Haji Abdul Mutalif.

Following the main discussions, participants had the opportunity to engage in breakout sessions with each of the speakers, allowing for a deeper exploration of their respective topics and more personalised interactions. These sessions provided a platform for attendees to seek tailored advice, ask in-depth questions, and gain practical insights directly from the experts.

In his opening remarks, President of Persatuan KESAN Md Haziq Hisyam bin Md Zaki, highlighted the significance of remaining proactive during Ramadhan, stating, “Ramadhan is not a barrier to continued proactivity. We are here to learn. Some things we might have to re-learn, and also, don’t forget, sometimes there are things we need to unlearn.”

The discussions emphasised the evolving job market and the necessity of developing essential skills beyond academic qualifications. One participant shared a key takeaway from the forum: “Having a degree is not enough; you need soft skills and leadership skills.”
