A foreign worker working at a restaurant in Seria on a social visit pass was detained and ordered to report to the Law Enforcement Division in Belait District for investigation for violating Regulation 9(4), Chapter 17 of the Immigration Act and Regulations.

The restaurant owner was also ordered to report to the division for further investigation.

Meanwhile, two female foreign workers were detained by immigration enforcement officers at restaurants in Mukim Gadong ‘A’ and Mukim Berakas ‘B’ last Thursday for violating Chapter 17 of the Immigration Act and Regulations for working on a dependent pass.
