The Sayyidina Husain Secondary School’s counselling unit organised a motivational talk for its Year 11 students yesterday to help in the preparation of GCE O-Level exams.
President of PEKA Brunei Darussalam Diny bin Haji Karim delivered the motivational talk.
The speaker highlighted that self-change is vital in achieving success in life in this world and hereafter.
He also encouraged that parents, who were in the audience, spend more quality time with their children to understand them better, discourage comparison of one child to another and to teach their child manners and guide them along a righteous path.
He also advised the students to respect and obey their parents.
The school hoped the motivational talk will encourage students and parents to work together in achieving the goals and success, as improving and strengthen their family bonds and support.
At the end of the event the guest speaker was presented with a token of appreciation by the school’s Acting Principal Nor’izzah binti Haji Othman.
