Some 100 people attended a health and safety awareness talk held by the Embassy of the Philippines in Brunei Darussalam at its chancery yesterday.
The talk was organised in conjunction with the ‘Meet & Greet Series’ networking sessions at the embassy between the Filipino community and the embassy staff.
The audience comprised Filipino educators and teachers from 26 schools and institutions including those based in Kuala Belait.
Health, safety and environment (HSE) consultant and auditor Calvin Lo delivered the talk on workplace HSE awareness.
The event was also attended by Filipino Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Marian Jocelyn R Tirol-Ignacio. – Lyna Mohamad
