Some 78 female muallaf are participating in the 40th Advance Guidance Scheme II from September 4 to 19.
Of this, 23 are in the Brunei-Muara District, 18 in Tutong District, 17 in Belait District and 17 in Temburong District.
The programme is being held at the Islamic Da’wah Centre’s (PDI) Darul Huda building in Brunei-Muara District and at Dakwah Unit offices in other districts.
The 14-day programme covers Iqra’, Amali, Zakat, Muamalat, Aqidah, Korban, Tauhid, Islamic history and Tasawwuf. Participants will also join a sharing session with Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Religious Enforcement Division on deviant teachings and visit Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The programme is aimed at raising the morale and provides spiritual support for the muallaf while assisting them in understanding and appreciating Islamic teachings. – Rokiah Mahmud
