Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) and Tutong District Amateur Football Association (TDAFA) held a dialogue yesterday to discuss football development and to seek positive steps, share views and for the district football association to relay their grievances to FABD.
During the meeting, FABD President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail expressed his intention to visit villages to assist less capable grassroots football players and groom them to be a successful players.
He also hopes that TDAFA will strive harder and formulate programmes and activity to develop football.
Meanwhile, Acting President of TDAFA Haji Bujang bin Haji Jaafar said they will hold a football league in late April and a grassroots football tournament in May.
Md Farid Hanis Ghassani Al-Muizz bin Haji Marali from Football Development Unit of FABD’s Technical Development Department also presented a briefing on grassroots activities. Also present was Secretary General of TDAFA Matusin bin Sumpong, manager representatives and coaches of football clubs in the Tutong District. – Azlan Othman
