His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors, expressed gratitude for the sincerity, commitment, and perseverance displayed by grassroots leaders and members of the consultative council in the distribution of dates for eligible recipients.

In his sabda at Yayasan’s date distribution launching ceremony at Yayasan Complex in the capital on Tuesday, His Royal Highness said that these qualities are highly valued, especially among eligible recipients of the personal gifts of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

During the launch, His Royal Highness also emphasised the need to avoid complacency and acknowledged that certain parties have not yet received the dates, which are personal gifts from His Majesty.

To address this, Yayasan, and all involved parties are urged to continue their responsibility with sincerity and dedication, ensuring that every eligible individual receives the dates, His Royal Highness said.
