In today’s rapidly changing world, graduates need to remain vigilant and understand the importance of continuously enhancing their knowledge and skills to ensure employability by utilising creativity, adopting positive thinking and possessing skills and abilities valued by employers.
This was stated by Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) Chief Executive Ir Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar in his speech at Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology’s (CCCT) convocation at The Empire Brunei, in Jerudong yesterday.
The ceremony saw the presentation of Academic Excellence Award to Iswendy bin Murni and Best Overall Performance Award to Lily Suryani binti Haji Mohsin.
“CCCT has helped me to develop myself as a better individual. An officer of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, I have gained so much through my learning journey,” said Iswendy.
Meanwhile, Lily Suryani, who was a part-time student and mother of one, shared her hopes set as an example and inspiring the younger generation to follow their dreams.
“Resilience and determination, are the greatest traits in my journey as a student of CCCT, especially in balancing my responsibilities as a student, a mother, a wife and an employee,” she added.
