Through the Hayya Ilal ‘Arabiyyah programme, students will be able to enrich their Arabic language vocabulary and language skills while also fostering a love for Islamic heritage, said Belait Arabic School (SAB) Headmistress Pengiran Hajah Masniah binti Pengiran Hussin.
She said this in an opening speech during the programme at the school’s premises on Monday.
She said that the programme aims to create a fun and interactive learning environment as students will make use of their Arabic vocabulary to interact in many scenarios set up around the school’s premises such as traditional market activities and various education games.
Themed ‘Return to the Exquisite Classical Era’ (Kembali Ke Zaman Klasik yang Indah), the programme saw 88 students participate.
Organised by the school in conjunction with Arabic Language Month, the programme aims to improve the Arabic literacy skills of the students through engaging activities that interweave the use of Arabic language to solve the challenges found among the games set up by the teachers throughout the school’s classroom.
