The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) is committed to investing in and nurturing the future healthcare workforce by providing opportunities for advanced education and professional development and therefore creating the foundation for a highly skilled and competent team of healthcare professionals, JPMC Chief Financial Officer cum Acting Chief Operating Officer Bun Pei Ling said. She said this in her opening remarks at the JPMC Scholarship programme award ceremony yesterday.
“This year, we are also proud to announce an additional scholarship programme called JPMC Elite, specifically designed for JPMC employees who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to their professional growth through continuing education. The JPMC Elite Programme offers scholarships to our employees to advance their education and enhance their skills at JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS), fostering professional development by enhancing knowledge, building expertise, and contributing to quality management within our organisation,” said Bun.
The JPMC Elite awards recipients are Siti Norhijanah Amal binti Haji Zainal and Muhammad Amal Zulfah bin Haji Abdul Samad, while the recipients of the JPMC Scholar awards are Siti Nihayatul Syafiqah binti Haji Anuar, Kamaliah binti Zaini, Haziq Dasuki bin Abdul Qawi @ Charlton Louie Chan Yew Fai, Nusrah Aliyah Nabillah binti Abdur Rahman and Siti Aqeesha Radhiya binti Muhammad Azharuddin.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, in his capacity as Chairman and Executive Director of JPMC, was the guest of honour at the event. – James Kon
