The Public Works Department yesterday said emergency works were initiated yesterday at Layong Water Treatment Plant due to the bursting of a pipe resulting in water supply disruptions in a number of areas.
The agency added that the pipe was replaced at 2pm yesterday but would take time for the water supply to return the normal level.
The public can contact the agency through Darussalam Line 123 to request for a water tanker or report water supply disruptions. – James Kon
