Some 15 students from underprivileged families in the Temburong District participated in an educational visit to a goat’s milk farm owned by Syarikat Rata Jaya and Syarikat Pertanian Tropikal Utama’s coffee plantation in Kampong Rampayuh, Mukim Labi yesterday.
The Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) organised the visit as a beneficial activity during the school break, in alignment with its establishment since 2009 in looking after underprivileged families.
MKM is also conducting other initiatives to help students from underprivileged families in the Sultanate. – Lyna Mohamad
