Some 20 volunteers from Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) participated in the Reef Ball Fabrication Programme by LAUT Brunei recently.
Throughout the session, BGC volunteers constructed seven reef balls, transforming locally sourced raw materials into reef balls – essential structures designed to support and improve marine ecosystems.
An appreciation token was presented to BGC through Captain Haji Mohatarshah bin Haji Othman, QHSSE Manager. In recognition of their efforts and contribution to marine conservation, all participants were awarded certificates, officially acknowledging them as certified reef ball fabricators.
The collaboration between BGC and LAUT Brunei not only promotes sustainable practices but also encourages community involvement in environmental stewardship.
