e-Invoice portal to be replaced

The e-Invoice portal in the current Treasury Accounting and Financial Information System (TAFIS) will be replaced with the Government Vendor Portal in the new TAFIS (TAFIS 2.0) from April 1, the Treasury Department under the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) announced yesterday.

In a statement, the Treasury Department explained that the new Government Vendor Portal is a self-service portal requiring vendors to self-register online to become government vendors.

Registering will also enable vendors to participate in any ministry or department quotations or tendering processes.

All vendors are advised to ensure their email information in the current e-Invoice portal are complete and up to date to enable the Treasury Department to disseminate information related to the new TAFIS (TAFIS 2.0). Vendors can also attend the Vendor Clinic which will outline the processes and requirements of the new government vendor portal. – James Kon
