The Prime Minister’s Office and departments under it held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark the 40th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik at Ash-Shaliheen mosque.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin followed by a special Doa led by Ash-Shaliheen Mosque Officer Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof; Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah; Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar; Deputy Ministers, special guests, permanent secretaries, heads of departments, officers and staff at the Prime Minister’s Office were present.
The Doa Kesyukuran was held to seek gratitude and prayers to Allah the Almighty for the good health, longevity and well-being of His Royal Highness and other royal family members. – Azlan Othman
