The Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families (PEKERTI) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 78th birthday celebration.
The event, held at the Officer’s Mess Banquet Hall of the RBPF headquarters, was attended by RBPF Commissioner’s spouse and PEKERTI President Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman as the guest of honour.
Chairperson of PEKERTI Datin Sabrina binti Abdullah Chong who is the spouse of the RBPF Deputy Commissioner was also present.
Following the Doa Kesyukuran a special talk in conjunction with Ilal Hijrah 1446 was delivered by Siti Junaidah binti Haji Bujang, who emphasised the importance of preserving the religion to safeguard the well-being of the country. – James Kon
