A delegation from the Centre of Education Technology (EdTech Centre) of the Ministry of Education (MoE) paid a working visit to SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre in Gadong yesterday.
The delegation was led by Head of EdTech centre Pengiran Haji Bahrain bin Pengiran Haji Sulaiman and Acting Director of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Department, MoE Haji Ibnu Khairuddin bin Haji Ibrahim.
The visit aimed to take a closer look at the infrastructure of SEAMEO Voctech Smart Lab, broaden and enhance viewpoint on digital learning and smart Technology and seek collaboration in educational transformation towards the digitalisation of education.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the educational technology infrastructure which supports the smart lab.
The delegates also saw a demonstration on Virtual TVET developed with the centre’s strategic partner, Labtech International. The group also had an opportunity to visit SEA-VET Lab to learn about the its e-learning platform to deliver courses offered by the centre.
