Unity and cooperation from the government sector, private sector and community through a whole-of-nation approach is key to achieving a sustainable dynamic economy, said Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah.
The minister said this during a muzakarah session between the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) and Legislative Council (LegCo) members at the MoFE building yesterday to discuss and exchange views and knowledge on the country’s fiscal position, economic development and economic diversification efforts.
LegCo member Yang Berhormat Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya’akub delivered a response speech during the discussion.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid and Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani were also present. – James Kon
