Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) Deputy Chief Executive Officer Abdul Mu’izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan yesterday highlighted two milestones of 2023: surpassing eight million metric tonnes in methanol production and a safety record of over nine million man-hours without lost time injury.
The other achievements included the launch of onshore loading facility in November, he said during a stakeholder engagement session at Sungai Liang Industrial Park (SPARK) mini theatre yesterday.
The event continued with BMC representatives delivering talks and attendees joining a question and answer session. BMC Chief Executive Officer Jesús Enrique Mora Marín was also present. – Daniel Lim
