The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Youth and Sports Department held a ‘Program Amal Belia V3.1’ cleaning campaign at the areas of RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang, in conjunction with Day of Actions Campaign to commemorate International Volunteer Day celebrated on December 5 annually.
The campaign was organised by the Youth and Sports Department’s Tutong District branch in cooperation with Mukim Telisai and Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme involving youth and villagers from the mukim and village.
It aimed to increase the involvement of mukim and village consultative councils as well as youth in carrying out community activities to maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya’akub, who is the Penghulu of Mukim Ukong, was present.
Penghulu of Mukim Telisai and village heads were also in attendance. – James Kon
