The Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) recently held its fourth Knowledge Symposium at the Student Learning and Services Centre, themed ‘Quality Teachers as Drivers of Educational Transformation’.
Senior Mistress of Teachers Professional Development (TPD) Dr Faridah binti Haji Abdul Hamid said, “The symposium seeks to provide opportunities for MDPMAMB lecturers to meet and share experiences, exchanging knowledge to keep each other well-informed on activities conducted as well as propagate new ideas as well as promote good relationships among lecturers.
“These exchanges are vital to uphold the professional quality of MDPMAMB lecturers at the highest level.”
The symposium, organised by the TPD Section of the college, featured a speech by principal Dayangku Hajah Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad and presentations by MDPMAMB lecturers on their research and insights relevant to their respective fields.
The symposium concluded with the Teacher Achievement Award 2023, to honour exemplary educators who have made outstanding contributions to their profession. – Azlan Othman
