The Gotong Royong campaign helps instil a cleanliness-focused mindset and highlights the responsibility held by everyone in the community to keep the environment clean, said Village Head of RPN Kampong Panaga ‘C’ Khairul Abidin bin Mohd Yassin.
He said this during a cleaning campaign at the surrounding area of the Los Tanjong Muslim Cemetery in Kuala Belait.
“This Gotong Royong campaign represents one of the annual activities organised by RPN Kampong Panaga Village Consultative Council (MPK) to pay respect to those who had departed,” he added.
Khairul Abidin said that the event was also held in preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan.
Members of MPK RPN Kampong Panaga, Panaga Primary School and Baden Powell (BP) Guild from the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association participated. – Daniel Lim
