Chung Hwa Middle School (CHMS) Bandar ‘C’ won the under 18 boys’ teams category, followed by CHMS Bandar ‘A’, Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School and CHMS Bandar ‘B’ in the Star Hopes Inter School Table Tennis Tournament 2024 held at the Tutong Sports Complex recently.
A total of 120 students across different schools competed in the competition which featured two main categories: teams and singles, with three age groups competing, namely under-12, under-15 and under-18.
President of the Brunei Darussalam Table Tennis Association (BDTTA) Pengiran Haji Muhammad Noor bin Pengiran Haji Tajuddin presented the prizes. The competition aimed to help students build a solid foundation in technical skills, physical fitness, and game tactics through practical experience and a comprehensive training system, while also nurturing teamwork and creativity.
