Brunei Darussalam Supreme Court Chief Justice Dato Seri Paduka Steven Chong and delegation attended the 8th Judicial Seminar on Commercial Litigation held from March 13-15 in Hong Kong.
Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal of Hong Kong, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Singapore together with judges and judicial officers from Australia Federal Court and Supreme Court of New South Wales, Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore attended the seminar.
Acting Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court Hajah Hazarena binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Haji Hurairah and senior judicial officers from the Brunei Supreme Court were also present.
Prior to the seminar, the chief justice and delegates held a meeting with Registrar of the Court of Final Appeal (CFA) of Hong Kong Wong King Wah, where discussions focused on managing appeals in the CFA. – Fadley Faisal
