Chefs cook up a storm in Thailand

The Royal Brunei Culinary (RBC) chefs represented the Sultanate’s culinary talents at the 28th International Culinary Cup (TICC) in Bangkok, Thailand recently.

The event was Thailand’s largest and prestigious culinary arts competition, held alongside Food and Hotel Thailand 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from August 21 to 24.

Muhammad Hasdi bin Rahman earned a silver medal in the ‘Duck Main Course’ for individual category while Erra Diyana binti Abdullahchek secured a bronze.

In the team category, RBC chefs – Mohamad Faizal bin Mohamad, Samliwati binti Haji Damit, and Ahmad bin Haji Mangsor won second place in the Thailand Best Chef Table Challenge. – Rokiah Mahmud
