A delegation from the Rotary Club of Belait (RCB) visited several Chinese schools in Belait District recently.
The visits were part of the club’s initiatives and projects to contribute to the community.
Club President Henrietta Hiew led the contingent accompanied by Secretary Camille Chai, Youth Service Patrick Lai and member Agnes Hwong.
The schools visited were Chung Hwa School in Labi and Chung Lian School in Sungai Liang.
The visit saw the delegation meeting school boards of directors, supervisors and principals for the club to better understand the schools’ needs. The visitors also toured school facilities and presented an invitation to school representatives to attend RCB’s 55th anniversary dinner to be held on August 20 at Chung Ching Middle School in Seria.
