Universiti Teknologi Brunei’s (UTB) Muhd Aiman bin Awang Mustafa was crowned the champion in the single’s category in a table tennis tournament organised by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) in conjunction with the 2024/2025 Chancellor’s Trophy between higher education institutions at the Gymnasium Hall, UNISSA Gadong Campus recently.
The runner-up was Awangku Abdurrahman Saeed bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Zaman from Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPUSB)
Universiti Brunei Darussalam‘s (UBD) Awangku Sufi Fakhrullah bin Pengiran Mohd Sofian won third place after defeating Awangku Abdurrahim Saleem bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Zaman from UNISSA in the deciding match.
For the doubles category, the UBD pairing of Bakhtiar Ramli and Jia Lok emerged champion followed by runners-up Abdul Wazeed bin AM Abdul Rahman and Mek Jen from UTB.
UNISSA’s duo of Awangku Muhd Luqmanul Hakim bin Pengiran Haji Bahar and Muhammad Alif Shaheedon bin Eydnor secured third place after defeating Mohammad Khairie bin Mohamed Shalahudeen and Awangku Muhd Shabri Hannan bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Zaman from KUPUSB in the deciding match.
