A certificate presentation ceremony was held at Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School to recognise students who completed the packaging of spices for Sabli Food Industries (B) Sdn Bhd.
Manager of Sabli Food Industries (B) Haji Mohd Nooh bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Dinda Haji Saman, the guest of honour, presented certificates of participation to nine students from the BTEC Programme and one student from the Pre-Vocational Programme. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the BTEC and Pre-Vocational Programme teachers.
In her speech, Principal of Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School Krestina binti Haji Daud expressed gratitude to Sabli Food Industries (B) and the Department of Schools for their ongoing collaboration on the packaging project since 2015.
Krestina also presented a token of appreciation to Haji Mohd Nooh for his contribution to the project.
Officers from the Department of Schools at the Ministry of Education (MoE), the Special Education Department, deputy principals, teachers, members of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA), and students’ families were also present.
Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School is the second government secondary school to participate in the initiative.
Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School, Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School, Katok Secondary School, and Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam Secondary School are currently involved in the project.
