Ceremony marks completion of work on centre

The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) recently handed over the completed Titian Amal Project to Pusat Bahagia Bangar, in conjunction with the celebration of RBAF’s 62nd anniversary at the centre in the Temburong District.

Chairman of the Titian Amal Project for the RBAF 62nd anniversary Major (U) Muhammad Adib bin M Abidin hosted the ceremony.

The project focused on the repairs, modification and upgrading efforts of the centre, such as the replacement of perimeter fencing, the modification and upgrading of toilets to ease the individuals with special needs. The project took almost two months commencing on October 2, 2023 to November 27, 2023, with a total cost of BND10,075.

It was funded through sponsorships and contributions from local companies as well as the Community Development Department (JAPEM) Project.

Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, representing the Commander of the RBAF, was present along with special guests including Legislative Council member and Acting Temburong District Officer Yang Berhormat Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Acting Director of JAPEM Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh and sponsors of the project.

The ceremony also saw a project briefing by the chairman of the Titian Amal Project and the presentation of commemorative plaques to sponsors by Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif. – James Kon
