Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The MoU was signed by Managing Director, BDCB Hajah Rashidah Binti Haji Sabtu and Vice Chancellor, UBD Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle. The exchange of MoUs took place during the opening ceremony of UBD’s 1st International Conference on Islamic Finance & Sustainability (ICIFS) 2025.

The MoU formalises and establishes cooperation in a range of various areas, including joint research, publication issuance, capacity building, information and data exchange, event organisation, and other mutually beneficial initiatives.
The MoU marks the start of a strategic partnership between BDCB and UBD, reflecting the shared commitment of both parties in supporting and contributing to Brunei Darussalam’s Wawasan 2035 aspirations.
