An International Women’s Day celebration was hosted by the Panaga Club’s Friends United Network (FUN) club at the Santuari Beachside Restaurant at Panaga Club recently.
Around 40 women attended the celebration, which included activities such as a cake-cutting ceremony and a dance-off.
FUN club president Preety Tyagi said the annual event is in line with the International Woman’s Day 2024 theme of ‘Inspire Inclusion’ and drew people from many different backgrounds, nationalities and culture.
“It is essential, especially among women, to always remain inclusive, supportive and encouraging towards other fellow women,” she said. – Daniel Lim
