The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) and Sport Event Hub organised Carnival 90 Run (K90 Run) in conjunction with the association’s 90th anniversary in the Sultanate.
Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud was the guest of honour at the run at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital. The event began with an aerobic session and Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal kicking off the race. The guest of honour also presented prizes to the winners. Sefli Ahar won the 10km men’s veteran category while Evin Lian bagged first prize in the women category.
Md Haziq Syazwan won the 10km men’s open category while Nur Suhara was placed first in the women category.
PPNBD President Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas and Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali were present. – Rokiah Mahmud
