A ceremony was held to mark the unveiling of multipurpose huts and facilities at Bukit Saeh Recreational Park yesterday.
Acting Village Head of Kampong Lumapas ‘A’ Haji Saini bin Haji Maidin officiated the ceremony in the presence of Bukit Saeh Recreational Park Committee Co-Chairmen Mohd Amin bin Haji Nudin and Haji Halidi bin Jerudin, as well as Bukit Saeh Recreational Park working committee members.
The sprinkling of bunga rampai and ribbon cutting by Haji Saini and Loo Kuan Look, a representative from Bit Computer (a sponsoring company) were the highlights of the day.
The event concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Kampong Lumapas Mosque Imam Mohd Azree bin Haji Asli. The inauguration is the end result of cooperation between private companies, Kampong Lumapas residents and the public.
The Bukit Saeh Recreational Park main courtyard already boasts facilities for visitors including multipurpose hut that doubles as a prayer room, public toilet facilities and a sink.
