Rows of small yet detailed figures and plastic models lined the lobby of KB Sentral Shopping Centre as the Gundam Plastic model (GunPla) and Warhammer community united to host a three-day-long Hobby Alliance Hangout 2024 from Friday.
Organiser Mohammad Azmi Suzandi bin Haji Mohd Tarif explained how the hangout was an opportunity for many communities to unite and share their passion and hobby.
“As part of the hangout event, we are showcasing a variety of plastic model displays from many well-known series such as Gundam, Zoids and more,” he said.
He also added that the groups are also hosting several activities which include, cosplays, a figure painting session by the Warhammer community, and the plastic model diorama competition where talented and creative community members of the group submitted their models to be judged based on various criteria. – Daniel Lim
