The ‘Day of Action’ was celebrated by youths on Sunday to mark the International Volunteer Day 2023 themed ‘If Everyone Did – Volunteer Work, If Everyone Does It’, which will run through January 31, 2024.
The International Volunteer Day is marked worldwide every December 5 to promote youth volunteerism and peace advocacy
The event held at the Youth Hub, Stadium Negara Hassanal Bolkiah, Berakas was attended by guest of honour Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II.
Also present was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad and senior officials from the ministry and the Ministry of Development.
