Brunei Darussalam’s under-19 football team have been drawn in Group ‘A’ in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Boys Championship 2022 next month in Indonesia.
The Young Wasps will face five-time winners Thailand, two-time winners Myanmar, Vietnam, the Philippines and hosts Indonesia.
The regional meet, which will be held from July 2-15, also include Malaysia, Laos, Timor-Leste, Cambodia and Singapore in Group ‘B’.
Meanwhile, the under-16 national team have been drawn in Group ‘B’ in the AFF Under-16 Boys Championship 2022.
The under-16 tournament will also be held in Indonesia from August 6-18.
They will face Thailand, Timor Leste and Laos while hosts Indonesia will be joined by Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines in Group ‘A’.
Malaysia, Australia, Myanmar and Cambodia complete Group ‘C’.
