Brunei Darussalam and Vietnam have been diplomatic partners for over 30 years with positive outcomes based on mutual trust and understanding, said Ambassador of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam Tran Anh Vu.
He made the remark during the celebration of Vietnam’s 78th anniversary of the National Day at the embassy premises.
He highlighted the deepened high-level interactions such as Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Brunei Darussalam in February and subsequent meetings between the leaders of both nations.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem performed by local artiste Dayat Ahim, followed by the Vietnamese national anthem performed by Duy Tân University student Le Khac Anna, who also held the title of Miss Da Nang in Vietnam.
Ambassador Tran Anh Vu accompanied by Le Thi Hong Ngoan led the cake-cutting ceremony.
Also present were Ambassador of Laos to Brunei Darussalam Sengdavanh Vongsay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghanim International Corporation Dr Nur Rahman and CEO of Transasia Development Corporation Haji Nasir Latif. – Lyna Mohamad
