The 17th VIBE Identity Exhibition by Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) launched yesterday, highlighted a diverse range of final-year projects from students across various faculties.
The exhibition features creative works including product design, fashion design, interactive media, music videos, animation, application technology designs and entrepreneurial concepts.
Acting Director of Museums Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Halus launched the event in the presence of KIGS Chief Executive Officer Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni.
Committee member Frencis Mae Catchero Tima-an of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, in the welcoming speech, shared that the biannual event serves as a platform for final-year students to showcase their creative projects while fostering collaboration, innovation and dialogue.
“The exhibition supports Brunei’s transition towards a knowledge-based economy by empowering creative professionals to contribute to the nation’s diverse and innovative landscape in line with Brunei Vision 2035,” she added.
The event also features talks by Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam on SIM card renewal and Konten Kitani.
The exhibition showcasing projects by 45 final-year students continues until tomorrow. – Lyna Mohamad
