The Inter-Forces Games and 16th bilateral meeting between Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) was held from May 15 to 18.

The sports contested were golf at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club while badminton and football took place at Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, of the police headquarters.

The SPF was crowned overall champion after winning the football and badminton events, while RBPF won the golfing event.

The presentation of the champion shield for the winner was handed over by Chairman of RBPF Sport Council Senior Superintendent Pengiran Muhaimin bin Pengiran Mustapha at the closing ceremony in a hotel at Gadong, attended by Commissioner of RBPF Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali as the guest of honour.

Deputy Commissioner of SPF Lian Ghim Hua was also in attedance.

In addition to the sporting events, both police forces held a 16th bilateral meeting on May 17 at the RBPF Headquarters.

Both the Inter-Forces Games and bilateral meeting are important platforms to strengthen cooperation and exchange information to instil close working relationships for the two police forces to address new challenges.

The sporting event and bilateral meeting are organised annually and the police forces take turn hosting the events.
