In a move to foster inclusivity within the scouting movement, the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) sent two representatives to the Scouts Forum: Diversity and Inclusion, organised by the Asia Pacific Region Scouts Movement.
Hajah Diana binti Haji Awang Ghani and Rostini binti Haji Suhaili left for Taiwan yesterday.
The four-day forum, scheduled from November 24 to 27 aims to share best practices and strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion within the scouting movement. Participants from 33 countries across the Asia Pacific region will gather to discuss and exchange experiences in implementing inclusive practices.
PPNBD President Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, International Commissioner Ritchie bin Siabu and Brunei-Muara Assistant District Commissioner Haji Mohd Khairul Anuar bin Haji Mohd Salleh were present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to the two representatives. – Lyna Mohamad
