The Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office and an accompanying delegation will undertake a trade mission to Canada from November 12 to 20 hosted by the High Commission of Canada in Brunei Darussalam. The visit aims to establish connections with key business leaders focused on energy transition, clean energy and other emerging sectors.
The goal is to engage in conversations with pre-identified stakeholders about potential partnerships in clean energy, renewable technologies and transformative solutions.
The Brunei delegation will gain insights into the latest advancements and best practices in the energy sector, particularly regarding energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
The mission underscores the commitment and priorities of Canada and the Sultanate to promote a sustainable future and enhance trade and investment relations. Brunei’s involvement in the trade mission will highlight its effort to navigate the global energy transition and advance sustainability initiatives.
