Deloitte Brunei held its talent recruitment bootcamp for its Audit and Assurance function on September 25 and 26.
The applicants were shortlisted from career fairs at universities and those who applied through the firm’s website. The bootcamp aimed to provide further insights and real-life simulations of the day-to-day work-life as an audit and assurance associate.
The candidates were allocated in groups to work on a business case study, comprising audit and assurance-related tasks. They were also tested in areas including teamwork, problem solving, time management and adaptability. “The bootcamp gives opportunities for locals to experience working situations in the accounting and auditing industry,” said Partner at Deloitte Brunei Haji Zulfariq Zara bin Haji Zainuddin.
Candidates will be shortlisted for an interview for a full-time position within the audit and assurance function. Deloitte Brunei is offering two entry programmes for aspiring students and graduates – Deloitte Fast-Track and Deloitte Accelerate – to allow candidates to fulfil their ambition and accelerate their professional career growth in and outside of the Sultanate.
