The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the Belait District (CCC Belait) celebrated their 66th anniversary yesterday at the V-Plaza Hotel.
“I hope that our members and the organisation will continue to play an important role in ensuring the prosperity of the businesses in the district,” said CCC Belait President Loo Soon Nin. During the event, the president handed over long service awards to three members of the business chamber.
The chamber also handed over scholarships to Chinese schools in the district: Chung Hwa Labi, Chung Lian Sungai Liang, Chung Ching Middle School Seria, and Chung Hua Middle School Kuala Belait.
Other activities included singing performances and a lucky draw.
