SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – BBC is set to air “Made in Korea: The K-pop Experience” this summer, offering viewers an inside look into the formation of a British K-pop boy group under the guidance of SM Entertainment, a powerhouse in the K-pop industry.
Teaming up with British entertainment company Moon&Back, SM Entertainment has embarked on this ambitious project to launch a five-member boy group.
The six-episode series will document the journey of these aspiring artists as they are brought together by Moon&Back and undergo rigorous K-pop training under SM Entertainment.
The group has been mentored by SM Entertainment’s top choreographers, songwriters, and K-pop experts in preparation for their global debut.
“This unique acquisition will showcase exactly what it takes to succeed in the world of K-pop. Watching the group form and undergo intensive training promises to be an exhilarating experience for audiences,” commented Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of Entertainment at BBC.

The series is scheduled to premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this summer, promising a captivating glimpse into the making of a K-pop sensation with a British twist.
